Integrity. Determination. Commitment
Background

Mark Petrocchi maintains a Fort Worth bankruptcy, reorganization and creditors' rights practice, representing clients in bankruptcy related cases and in out-of-court workouts primarily in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, but also in other jurisdictions in and out of Texas. He has extensive knowledge and experience representing many types of participants in bankruptcy cases, state court cases, debt restructuring, liquidations, workouts, asset sales, business sales and related types of representations, including debtors, secured and unsecured creditors, financial institutions, trustees, committees, asset purchasers and sellers. Because stressed financial situations often involve the transfer of assets, this practice involves acquisitions of assets and mergers of companies.

His representations include creditors, trustees and debtors in large cases to mom & pop types of businesses. He has substantial experience in litigation and is regularly involved in contested adversary proceedings in bankruptcy court and other courts, including actions for recovery of preferences, fraudulent transfer actions, valuation motions, asset purchases, stay proceedings, plan confirmations and an array of motions related to bankruptcy cases. Because Mark Petrocchi is fortunate enough to enjoy a broad bankruptcy practice, he is required by BACPA 2005 to state "We are a debt relief agency. We help people file for bankruptcy relief under the bankruptcy code."
